Everybody Shops!

Well I went back and did another work party for my sister, and have been invited back on a monthly basis!  Sold a majority of my inventory again so I ran straight home to order AGAIN!   It is amazing how fun affordable jewelry is, when it is priced where everybody can afford it, EVERYBODY shops! Next month I will have to bring a little more info on party's and joining Paparazzi as I had questions about both.  I took with me my 13 year old niece and my 8 year old daughter as they are out of school on winter break now, and they both were in awe at the excitement of everybody.  I even had my first male customer he bought a few pieces for his Mom for Christmas.  
It felt so great to be able to offer affordable jewelry and accessories to everyone.  And I smile while thinking how professional I felt at the same time.  I have business cards, a banner, and I can even accept credit cards!  Yay ME!  LOL   You can laugh at me, I am :)

Well I have just received the confirmation that my 3rd order has shipped, I can't believe how fast this jewelry has been flying out!  I have been wearing a smile for well over a week now, along with all MY new accessories!  It feels great to have people text and message you saying they need to meet up again to purchase more.  I have talked to a local chocolate shop and set up a time where I can display my inventory at her shop, and I am crossing my fingers she invites me back!

Wow, Had my first Show today!  Thanks to my wonderful Sister, I had an amazing first show.  She invited me to her work, I set up my display on her desk and the women begin swarming before I was able to hang the necklaces up.  I was there for just over an hour including setting up and putting it all away, and sold 50 items!   I just think I will buy myself another piece...or two!  Dont Forget to check out my facebook page!  http://www.facebook.com/5dollarsparkle

$5 Jewelry?  How?
Okay so it's been almost a year since I started blogging.  Okay, so its been a year since I posted to my blog I made a year ago.  A lot has changed since then, I will catch you up.  We moved into our new house.  The kids completed 4-h and had a great time with it, although they decided they don't want to continue with it.  With that we did find a new home for Willow, as she was purchased with the agreement that the kids would care for and train her.
Another new thing that I super excited about was that I just joined a company called Paparazzi Accessories.   Which is why, I got back to blogging.  So I have a place I can go on and on and on about how excited I am without driving all my friends away!  So to start, I joined and placed my first order last night AND got my package conformation number TODAY!  

How did I come across Paparazzi you ask?  Well about a year ago, while taking my kids to 4-H, there was a lady who had her booth set up down at the fairground.  Now I am a girl who LOVES a good deal and $5 jewelry definitely falls within a good deal!   But having tried the business thing before and not doing much with it, I didn't want to "join".   Okay truth is I didn't want my husband to be able to say "told you so" about another crazy idea of mine.    
But the Jewelry and the thought of only $5 just wouldn't leave my mind.  Every time I would see a necklace or bracelet  I would think "I bet Paparazzi has something like that for $5!"  So I have given in and signed up, I want to have it all!  Oh......and I will try to let others have some too.

Words with Friends....how do I have time for anything else :)

So a friend of my told me how fun this words with friends is.  So now I have about 12 games started with different people and I hate making people wait on me.   So my new obsessive behavior is checking my phone to see if it is my move, oh and should I mention I now need to charge my phone mid-day.   LOL   I guess I should go rotate (I wonder if I have the correct letters for the word rotate)  my laundry while I am waiting for my next move.   Off I go now, have to get something real done today.

Snow Days!

Well I am going to start this blog to keep a timeline of life's events.  For those of you who don't know me, I am a mother to 3 young children, married to my best friend and first love, and living in the small town I grew up in.  Our two older kids started in a dog 4H club this year.  Our oldest son just started his first year of wrestling, and our youngest son stays home with me to keep me busy.
So with the first activity(4H) we only had one dog, so on to another new adventure, a new puppy.  Now we have two dogs so our kids can each show their own.  Our first puppy is a two year old Wirehaired Pointing Griffon.  I stumbled upon the breed while trying to convince my husband the German Wirehair Pointer was not a good fit for our family, he hates to admit it but cannot argue that I WAS RIGHT!   Our middle child, Lenora, needed a dog for 4H and I wanted something a little smaller, so our next puppy, a 9 week old English Springer Spaniel.  Yes, that is my idea of a small breed dog, NO ankle bitters allowed in this house.   The kids are loving 4H and learning so much.
Next is Dillion's wrestling, he has yet to have his first match but is showing interest in learning the moves.    
 Matthew, our youngest, is 4 and never stops talking, so I will occasionally add a few of his unbelievably "genius" ideas that flow from his mouth.   My favorite that will forever stick with me is "mom, why don't they make gamegirls so sissy can play the gameboy too?"
